Our school respectfully acknowledges that we are located on the ancestral, traditional and unceded Indigenous territory of the Algonquin Peoples,
on whose territory we pray, learn, play and work.

Our School

Welcome to St. Isabel

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to St. Isabel School. We open our doors for the first time this school year to 375 students. As a new school community, we strive to promote responsibility, respect and academic excellence.  A school-wide approach has been adopted to engage all members of the school community in developing procedures that build and sustain a safe and accepting learning environment that support the diverse needs of all learners.

Our school board strategic plan for 2018 is: Be Community, Be Innovative, Be Well. At St. Isabel, we are committed to the board priorities which will provide us with a focus on student achievement and well -being, and the delivery of effective and appropriate educational programs that enhance 21st Century skills. At the core of these priorities is the call to live the Gospel Values which will be further enhanced by our Board spiritual theme: Seek Justice, Love Kindness, and Mercy and Walk Humbly with God.

I look forward to being an active member of this new and vibrant community as we learn together and create a community based on care, compassion and mutual respect.

Heather MacPhee
